Knowing you have debt is not the same as watching it shrink.

A balance on a statement answers one question. It does not tell you how far you have come, when you might be done, or whether extra payments are changing the timeline.

Without a clear progress view, it is hard to tell if you are making headway or just staying current.

Overview shows where you stand. History shows how you got there.

The Debt Tracker splits those jobs on purpose. Use each tab for what it does best.

Overview tab

The big picture for every loan

Overview is for status at a glance: progress bars, projected payoff dates, and the sense of whether the plan is working.

Open it when you want to answer "Am I making progress?" without scrolling a ledger. Compare loans side by side, check payoff projections, and review compound interest estimates before you accept them.

The record of every move

History is for the trail: payments, additional amounts, and balance updates you log over time.

Open it when you want proof of what changed, when you made an extra payment, or when a balance update needs to be captured so Overview stays accurate. If Overview is the dashboard, History is the journal.

Build a debt tracker you trust.

  1. Add each loan

Enter the balance, payment details, and anything else Cyclar needs to project a payoff. Start with the debts that weigh on you most.

  2. Check Overview regularly

Use progress bars and projected dates as your pulse check. This is the tab for "where do I stand?" after payday or at month end.

  3. Log activity in History

Record payments and balance updates as they happen. Extra payments belong here so Overview can reflect the new trajectory.

  4. Review interest estimates before you commit

When Cyclar surfaces compound interest estimates, use them to understand the cost of waiting, then decide with clearer eyes.

Watch your debt shrink on purpose.
